The pause that refreshes

Writing has taken a brief hiatus for the past week.  Rehearsing one play in the evenings
and preparing to produce and perform an improv show has taken up most of the daylight hours.
The improv show went off nicely for an audience of about one hundred people last evening, and the
regular show opens on Friday.

It will be good to have my days back to continue working on Alison, the children's musicals,
and doing some minor revisions on "The Patch of Red Velvet".  Getting some nice reviews in
from students on that and some good suggestions of how to make it even better.  The joy
of this self-publishing and e-publishing thing is that I can easily make improvements on the
books as I get feedback from the readers.  It is awesome.  I want to make the series as entertaining and fun as possible and having the option of tweaking it even after publication is
great.
