That's why not everyone does it

I found thirteen typos or layout issues in the latest set of proofs for the book.  I promised myself if I found more than eight, I would correct and re-submit a new pdf.  It means delaying the release of the book a little, but I want to make it as professional a job as possible.

I could say writing a book is easy.  It's not, but the hard part really comes when you sit down and edit, and edit, and edit.... until you're sick of the whole thing.  It's that part of the process that separates the people that have a cool story they want to tell and the people that eventually get that story published (or self-published) as the case may be.  That's when you really find out whether you want to fight to reach your goal or whether you're not passionate enough about it to get it done.
