Big Brother is Watching

The new and improved proof of my book arrived via UPS today.  I get to look over this one and see if there are any glaring errors.  I feel like the bride waiting to hear if someone will speak up when the minister asks 'if anyone knows any reason why these two people should not be joined together..." The difference is, I get to be the person to offer the objection.  Unless I see something really nasty, I will probably keep silent at the risk of looking illiterate if I forgot to add a comma or spelled something incorrectly.
I did get my first example of targeted marketing based on putting something through the self-publishing process.  I received a post card in the mail advertising cover design services, guaranteed to be eye catching and sell books.  Thankfully, though my writing may come into question sometimes, four years of education and thirty years of employment as a graphic designer mean that I don't think I'll have to pay for that service.  If my covers suck, it will be my own fault.
